Espresso Rum Fusion

Recently, I have seen some fun twists on Espresso Martinis, so I decided to give it a try. While on vacation, we found Botran Aged Rum at a duty-free store. While exploring my stash of liquor to see what might pair well with espresso, I decided to give the Botran a try, and it was delicious!

• Start with a shaker full of ice

• 1.5oz Botran (or another aged rum)

• 1oz Kahlua

• 0.5oz Demerara Simple Syrup

• 1 shot of Espresso

• Shake hard to create a nice layer of foam on the top

• Strain into a classic coup or martini glass

• Top with exactly 3 coffee beans to represent health, wealth, and happiness!
