Mandarin Fizz

I recently purchased some Hangar 1 Mandarin Blossom Vodka. While researching what might go well with this vodka, I found Hangar 1's website and their Mandarin Fizz recipe. I decided to give it a try and I really enjoyed it, so I wanted to share it. This cocktail is a bit more complex than the others I share, but it is worth giving it a try.

• Start with an empty shaker and add the below ingredients:

  • 2oz Hangar 1 Mandarin Blossom Vodka

  • 0.5oz Simple Syrup

  • 0.25oz Lemon Juice

  • 0.5oz Lime juice

  • 1 Egg White

  • 0.75oz Cream (I used 1/2 & 1/2, since I didn't have cream at home)

    • Shake all of these ingredients vigorously for 1 minute, with no ice. I added a cocktail strainer spring to the shaker to aerate the drink more.

• Then remove the spring and shake the cocktail with Ice for 30 seconds.

• Strain into a collins glass (I also added ice to my glass) and top with Seltzer.
