Every now and then, a cocktail comes along that feels like it belongs in both a chic speakeasy and your own kitchen. Enter The Kirkland Royale: a sparkling, honey-kissed creation made entirely with ingredients from Costco. It’s proof that you don’t need to shop at a high-end liquor store to craft a refined, celebratory drink.
The Inspiration
I wanted to put together a cocktail that celebrates the versatility (and value!) of Costco’s Kirkland Signature brand. I built this recipe around their clean, crisp gin and added brightness with lemon juice that I purchased from Costco as well. To soften the citrus and bring balance, I used a honey simple syrup made from Kirkland Signature honey, then finished it with a pop of Kirkland Signature Prosecco. The result? A vibrant, effervescent cocktail that’s both approachable and luxurious.
Start with a shaker full of ice
2.5oz London Dry Gin (of course I used Kirkland Signature)
0.5oz Honey Simple Syrup (see bottom of this post for directions)
0.5oz Lemon Juice
Shake and strain into a glass
Top with a dry Prosecco

Flavor Profile
The Kirkland Royale is light and refreshing, yet layered with character:
Citrus & Sparkle – the lemon juice and prosecco give it a lively, zesty edge.
Botanical & Crisp – the gin shines through with subtle herbal notes.
Sweet & Smooth – honey syrup rounds everything out with a golden, velvety finish.
